Is it true that this RAM won't work when setting manual RAM timings in the BIOS? I have my core 2 duo e6600 overclocked to 3.6ghz (400fsb) and my motherboard is an ASUS P5B Deluxe.

I bought the RAM, it should be here on Tuesday. Does anyone have any experiences with overclocking this RAM?
Thanks

I have... I sold them after 2 weeks. Dunno if they all are llike that, maybe I had some bad samples but honestly - they s*ck. I couldn't get those sticks stable with more than 1.975 V (though they are rated at 2.1V), highest freq reached = 804MHz, at 5-5-5-15, lol. They ran hot like hell, hotter than nforce 680i, and that's quite hot. Good luck with them, maybe yours will be better.

whats ICs are under the hood of these modules? Because I have mine running at 1000mhz at 5-5-5-15 with 2.25Vs... I reckon they can do 1100 at 5-5-5-15 or 1000 at 4-4-4-12 but I haven't tried

Hi, I bought my RAM from ocuk. Where and when did you buy yours? What chips are in your Geil ram?
I hope my RAM will be ok when it arrives this Tuesday. :slobber:
