Currently my f/d is placed in front of my condensor fan. So hot air blowing across it transfers heat into it. Is this having a negative impact on the system? The capillary is wrapped around the suction line.

Or would it be better placed out of the path of hot air.

i wouldn't worry about it too much, if it's a quick fix to just bend it, go for it - and if not and you're paranoid about it you can always insulate it

there LIQUID line filter/dryers,belongs on liquid line NOT on hot gas discharge line.

I think the air will be as hot as the filter...

sorry ,I mis-read as I was quickly scanning threads ,I thought he said he had the filter before the condensor,I mised the word FAN, my applogies.
