If I remember correctly from my biology classes in college mice!=humans. Who says that it does anything close to this in humans, plus they don't even know for sure if the protein produced is the cause for Alzheimer's. It seems that somehow people have used halothane and not ended up with Alzheimer's so this just seems like something to scare people. How about people wait for some solid evidence for any of this

Agree 100%. As with anything you have to look at the costs vs. benefits of using this, if in fact it does have this effect on humans.

umm incase you didn't know, it anaesthetics don't remove pain rather they make people go to sleep. So technically just restrain them and add some pain killers
