does anybody have the new 8800 gts or gtx card that evga claims to have acs3?
im skeptical that the HSF is altered in anyway, i beleive it is just the same HSF
any proof, pictures would be nice
or maybe i sjut dont knwo what acs3 is, naked pictures would be nice

It isn't its just a cover.

ACS3 simply means Arctic Cooling Silencer 3.
its the exact same cooler that all the other 8800s got.
there are a few diffrences between a normal 8800GTX and this ACS3 version.
the ACS3 has a big alu heatsink at the back were the reference doesnt i think.
further the cover of the ACS3s cooler is made from aluminium and has a big thermal pad at the inside wich makes contact witht he fins of the cooler.
so the cover helps a lil with the cooling.
so the cooler has very small diffrences to the reference design.

it does cool very well
Better than the stock cooler for sure
And very quiet too
