View Full Version : oil cooler port - what should i do??

guys, im working on my phase cooling but i have question with this compressor
here is the pic:

the website tells that those two ports act as oil cooler, then what should i do on them? connect them? thx

just leave those plugs on.
it is just a pipe swirling inside the compressor casing.

Thats a sealed pipe into, then out of the bottom of the compressor.
Because i know the next question you were going to ask was, "Wont the compressor blow those plugs out?" lol
You don't need to use those ports if the compressor has decent airflow over it to keep it cool.
Just as the new guy said, keep the plugs in and ignore that they are there.

i didn't realize those ports were not pressureized, the one Matsu$hita compressor I have has oil cooler ports that I brazed closed.
So if you wanted too you could water cool them....?
Now that be cool!
