I got an e-mail today from the small shop I ordered my stuff that the Xtreem CL3 DDR667 kit was discontinued, but that they could order this instead and that they were new but just as good, or better...
Cell Shock Kit 2x1024MB DDR2-800 4-4-4-12
http://cellshock.flagbit.com/fr/produits/ddr2/ddr2-800-cl4.html
Im a little disapointed I couldn't get the Xtreem because I know for a fact they were good. On another side, I'm getting an E6600 only, so there would be very little need to go beyond 423mhz (with a 9 multiplier, 423*9 = 3.8ghz). I guess I could run a 4:5 ratio on the ram and OC them up real good, but Im pretty sure the real word application benefits (ie gaming fps) would be slim...
Anyway, all the babble aside, have you heard from this kit and is it any good?

no one?
It is a great kit , some people prefer it over team memory . in fact both kits uses the same chips (D9GMH) but the Cell Shock uses 8 layers PCB instead of the 6 layers on the team

I got my set..but I am puzzled.
Each stick read as 2GB, and then says dual 2GB. So are they labeled wrong, or I got 4GB of it?
Can't check for another weeks before my other parts arrive, afaik this current cpu wont support this ram !
Show me CPUz screen first or validation link

This is a 2 x 1GB kit.
PDP Systems have the same label : hmm 2 x 1GB 1000XBLK and label of stick say 2048MB.
