it says it runs with opteron 240-244 but these are dual chips and aint supposed to run single..????

they can run in single systems as well, just like athlon mps or xeons.

ok. just wanted to be sure. just saw that 400's couldn't tun dual mode.
Heh, for the fun of it im working out a customised server price....so far about $64000 worth of gear in it :D
