Hi,

I have a Vapo Classic which has been re gassed with R404a and has a desuperheater added as well. Does anyone know how much gas should be in it? I know it's 70g normally but does the desuperheater change the amount needed? The tech guy put in 100g. When I start up the temps on the chill control go to around 150 then start to drop all the way to -199 then I get an error Lor or 10r cant remember which. I replaced the old temp sensor when I bought a new socket kit as the old one was damaged is it likely that's the problem or have I wired something wrong? If it is the sensor where can I get one that will work? If not can I run the unit without one? Sorry for the stream of questions. :)Thanks in advance I would really appreciate your help.

Cheers

You can't really charge like that, you need to put the unit on a heatload and then charge for it to be properly charged. As for the electricals, I'll leave that to someone more knowledgeable with them.

Thanks for your reply n00b 0f l337. I don't have the kit or the skills to do this myself. Do you or do you know someone that cold help?

Thanks again

Or could you tell me what I need to tell the local engineer so that he could do it for me?
