i have a 2.53 533fsb p4, runnning in an intel mobo, with the stock heatsink/fan. ive never overclocked this processor, yet its idle temp is like 49c, sometimes it goes up around 60 when playing games and the board alert goes off, any suggestions? i think im gona try to put some artic sliver on it when that comes in with my AMD, see if it cools it any better, but would that be worth taking off the HS/fan and risk damaging the processor?
