Looks like Asus is very keen on the word "P5B" lately on their product range eh ?

What next ? P5B-"CF" .... Choco Flavour ? :D

Hmmm. So many good 965 boards. I'm thinking of picking one up to put under DI and LN2 eventually but I really need a 500 MHz FSB board. How does this one compare?

That's pretty sweet.
Looks like they're using all solid caps.

I wonder what that thing between the pci slots at the bottom does.

Foxconn is a major manufacturer for motherboard components, many motherboard manufacturers use Foxconn parts, fairly typical really.

glad to know ASUS woke up and is using ONLY solid capacitors.

Are those pics of the Vista edition? I don't see the onboard memory booster thingy.

BTW. I just ordered one of the P5B Viste Premium edition. Wasted money on the mini LCD but I needed a board.

So this is why they have done practically nothing towards improving the P5B deluxe.

This is in particular makes me wonder why ASUS had to go and put a VIA chip in it?
:slap:
VIA makes the best Firewire controller chips. better then TI, the only other decent alternative

I never believe that 3 phase mobo can do in kentsfield FSB 480 Prime 95 on Air, but P5B-Plus done.:)

I'm afraid a lot of people will disagree.

TI is almost always more highly recommended than VIA when it comes to pro audio and video productions where 1394 is used.
