but i wonder why the 87K run is so slow (5412MHZ VS 5124)

I have been told by one of the top guys on the ORB that OPB DOES NOT cheat. Period.

Look at kemo post: be patient, OPB says he has one and he will publish it but didnt see hipro's...

that wasn't my point it is just like when you prepare your rig for super pi 1M you test pifast at approximately the same speed because they almost need the same stability not 300MHZ difference and i suggest that you edit your last statement

I see your point but that´s not valid when you are not testing cpu speed but other settings...
About my last statement dont follow you: whats wrong with my opinion: I consider OPB a better bencher and I consider hipro the best vmodder around...:stick: :stick:

01 is a hard one to figure out how to get the most out of, and if you figure it out there are alot of "free" points. OPB is a little behind because he doesn't have as much 3d-experience as the others at the top.

i don't think opb would cheat. i know he used to do some crazy shi*t with bh-5 and tccd memory and he has my respect. i know for a FACT that he did not cheat. why cheat when you can up scores with o/cing, and i know opb loves to o/c.

If nothing constructive can be posted by anyone, then don't do it.
But we won't allow this thread ending in another flame war. We've had enough of those in the past weeks/months.

thats my question. in the thread he's using a p5n, and in his orb description he writes badaxe2. so which one was it? or were those two separate benches?

Dunno. He DID say he killed some hardware. Cannot be badaxe2 at first, as he was using 900mhz 1t he said(not BX2 4sure)...then dead hardware, then result. Like really...pretty obvious...
that makes every thing clear
AM3 with the P5N and 3D01 with the BX2 and that also explain lower clocks in 3D01

from reading his post i though he killed it right after that bench was made, so during the same set of runs.... i guess i could just ask him =\

Keep in mind alot of people are "against" him, so that has worn him down a bit. He's submitted and is doing things that were asked...kinda hard to stay motovated that way.

Kevin is getting some rest after a long nite of benching and has said he will provide details and video tomorrow. He did say he used xbx2 tho I think as most of his other boards have died. I dunno how he can manage to bench 3d with LN2 and take a video as well, multitasking to say the least.

It was a P5N32-e SLI he killed if I got it right. He already killed 4 Striker boards :(

When you talk about one of the top guys on the ORB that OPB does not cheat period do you mean a bencher ? If so most of the top benchers on the ORB have mentioned concerns recently about some of his scores so I am not sure how your source can be so adamant.
If you mean an employee of FM then I'm sorry but they do not have a very good record of catching cheats. They did not spot Bluremy or Coolaler at all for instance. In fact they cannot even check well for bogus scores anymore it seems

This thread is a mess. Rather predictably it has had to have a lot of editing by various mods and it makes me wonder, with what has gone on recently in regards to OPB and peoples disparaging thoughts towards XS from OCX ,why it was posted here at all? Surely the outcome would be known?
I've closed this thread while I mull things over and talk to peers for advice.
