This is awesome, i got the sexy look of vista on my windows xp now! I got the instructions here and heres a pic of how good it looks with the cursor and icon pack!

Edit: oh i didnt like the font it used so i changed it back to tahoma also

I sow similar themes back when Vista was a beta - nothing new, try this http://www.windowsxlive.net/index.php?page_id=15 you might find it more accurate. ;)

PS.It's a full transformation pack not just a theme.

That doesn't look like it has any transparency. Look for the Jadaero skin for Windowblinds, its much better.

Hmm ... do I need WindowBlinds to make the taskbar and all those things transparent?
Because in the last Version of the Transformation pack, the whole windows (and not only the "top part") were transparent which just looked a bit weird! ;)
To get the top parts transparent and get a really properly working start-button, you need WindowBlinds ... do I still need it in this new version??

|-Stianu89 and Blue Eyes’ Vista Live Messenger RC skin

Maybe those help and you don't.

lol the rig in my sig is only partially built right now, im rock a athlon 64 3000 right now for the next 2 weeks:D

That doesn't look like it has any transparency. Look for the Jadaero skin for Windowblinds, its much better.

This is by far the best WB5 vsta skin available:

Make sure you install the LS patch, then it works perfectly (removes shutdown/logoff text on buttons)

I'm not seeing much transparency? Jadaero still looks better.

I forgot which theme I was using with Windowsblind before but it had aero window clear as glass. I mean literally like glass, it was more clearer than the real vista. But yea if you wanna mimic vista theme, Windowblind is the best method.

Transparency works just fine in XP so i don't doubt that at all, what you don't have is the 3D desktop that relieves your CPU by using the GPU (and yes, using the best tool for the job does help quite a bit) so while it may in some parts look Vista-ish it lacks the underlying technology that actually does something besides making it look stylish. ;)

What do you guys think of Vista Transformation Pack? I used the RC1 and it was perfect, the final one really slows down my login times.

That's true - it really does give a heavier load, I manage to get it to normal but don't remember the exact steps, since I don't use TP right now. :(
