Following the advices and guides written on this forum i managed to hit 3.0Ghz with everything on stock voltage besides the CPU which is set at 1.30V.

However i am little worried about the NorthBridge (spelling?), i read its a very hot cheap, the DS4 seems to have a decent cooling solution, some sort of heat pipe system that comes from transistors next to the Socket 775 - > NB - > SB.
I am wondering if it is safe to run FSB 430 with this cooling system, i got good airflow on my case, and as the picture shows, the system temperature @ full never reaches 40 degress, but thats the NB temp ? Or i should look somewhere else or add some 50mm fan(rather skip that posiblity :( ), perhaps i might need go back to 2800Mhz (400x7) ?.
Thanks again, Leopr.

First if you want OC with stock voltages set your Vcore is BIOS to Normal because if you dont set it to Normal C1E dosent work and always voltage is 1.3v but when is Normal while load you have 1.325v while idle you have 1.120v and you have very better temps for 24/7
about NB temp dont be worry its normal but I personally put a 80mm fan on it to get better temp
and remember that 40C is your mobo temp not NB temp!

I got the vcore set to 1.30V @ BIOS, the rest besides the memories (2.0Vdimm) is on auto.
About the NN temp, is there any way i could check it ? To add a 80mm fan i guess i need to remove all the heatpipe system.
Somewhere i got saved the 80mm(i think its 80mm) that comes with the p5b deluxe wifi ap.
On the picture shows 34 degress for the "System" and 40 for the cpu, i wouldnt like to start messing around again with the motherboard, but if you say its recommendable or needed to add a 80mm fan for my current oc setup (fsb 430) i will have to do it.

Sorry for asking again, could anyone confirm me its safe to use 24/7 @ 430FSB with stock cooling ?, i am worried :< last thing i want is to go trough the rma process again.
Thanks, Leopr.

as long as you have passive cooling on the northbridge you will be fine. do not use c1e if your overclocking u will go from a load in windows to a crash becuz of the voltage drop from c1e kicking in.

leopr : NO dont remove heat-pipes at all!!! my 80mm is Dangle! with 3 wire and fan got airflow on NB heatsink
and for find NB temp go to BIOS in system health and set fan control method to intel QST and save and exit after boot go into BIOS and in system health now you can see your NB and SB temps

depends on your temps if your load temp is below 65C (with CoreTemp) its fine 70C is hot and 80 is Danger and 85C is die of your babe
natedog420 : my 3.5GHz babe is stable with C1E!!
