He's somewhat modest to post this in a new thread ( other people wouldn't be :D ) but I thought it was nice to see someone do a dual head phase for SLI vga and get some results
#1 05

and clocks

(Sam says cards not the best in the world, shame he has not got some 80nm versions!)
and a picture of the rig

:toast:
Sadly for us air cooled guys benching mid range I think that might be hard to beat, even with 80nm cards
Excellent work Sam, looking forward to 2001, 03 and 06 results to come.

Many thanks for thread Andy :)
I wanted to wait while I shall receive other results, today I had no time for this purpose.

Nice :D
So you finally had the time to play around with that dual head phase unit you told me a good while ago :)
Seems like I have to get something better than watercooling to be competitive for next gen low budget card benching :)
Nicely done Vladimir :toast:

Impressive score for sure  , congrats :toast:
We are waiting for more results Big_Sam , plz bench 01/03 and 06 when you get a chance :)
P.S.: is 876MHz with or without Delta ?

Very nice dual headed unit, what are the specs on it? I'm guessing from the pictures a 1/2 HP hermetic with 2 captubes tuned for 150 watts each? Can imagine it'd be a pain in the butt tuning that system correctly but it looks like it did a great job for you, what were the evap temperatures at those clocks?

Yes, I bench 03 today, but had time only for one run.
I am dissatisfied with results again and have again appeared new questions on which I don't know answers yet.
It seems to me that I have received very bad score in wings :(
And I don't know why :(
This is compare with my result on intel 975_SLi but only with CPU on 4250Mhz:
http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/9397/compare03miq7.gif
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4926953
And this is my result on 680i: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5221098
http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/2161/03m36009iz2.th.gif (http://img241.imageshack.us/my.php?image=03m36009iz2.gif)
... and what about GPUs - 876Mhz is with delta, and I don't understand the reason why I can't step through 890Mhz.
I yet don't know what's a problem, but a problem is not in cooling.

I told about it here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=1790346#post1790346
Now temperatures on pair 7600GT with Vgpu=1.75V in 2D -38C, and at full loading in 3D about -33 -34C.

06 has turned out not bad:
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=1267338

But from 01Mark I expected the greater: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9152305
I have not made the screen because hoped to receive the greater result, but the very first appeared the biggest.
I think that 67385 is not bad, but it is necessary to try still more...

What happens if you use 91.47 drivers for 2001 ?

This is Leadtek: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=114201&highlight=7600GT with 1.2nS mem.
One card can 1Ghz, and second - 950Mhz... but only with Vmem mod
This is old thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=101749&highlight=7600GT
I remove this voltmod now.

Great scores.
I'm so jealous of those memory clocks; my pathetic 1.4ns Infineon will barely do 810 @ 2.21 volts.

I still have a hangup about infineon since I got some 2n memory of theirs rated 500/1000 obviously and it started getting 3d corruption at 510/1020 on stock volts :D That was on a 6600GT. At 525/1050 it even started getting corruption in 2d Windows desktop
Give me Samsung anyday

Q6600 cannot be run at such FSB on EVGA even with VGTL mod.
So it could work at such FSB only on P5B Dlx.
I think that one of these days there will be new results with 7300GT DDR3 :)

Today... when I did first experiments with 7300, I have found the reason of weak OCing of my 76000 GPUs.
I think that now I can increase it on 100Mhz. :)
I'll be back... :)
... with 7600 as soon as shall finish with 7300. :)
