Windows Vista worth my good money? i mean i am getting ready to order my new computers parts and should be built by the end of march or beggining of april... so i was thinking about getting Vista because of my 8800GTS and Sup Com and Crysis and all that and i was hearing some bad things of Vista from my friends that its laggy and it slows down your games and your going to need 3gigs of ram to run Sup Com just cause Vista will slow it down or sumthing? is that true, and that its not worth it and its no better than XP or even worst that XP? so is DX10 anygood dose it have all those problems? and should i buy it for my new computer or not?

You should wait for a stable WHQL Driver - Nvidia recommends XP for the moment. :)
Drivers will be there pretty fast tough
If you dont have an XP license i would go Vista, if not you can just as well wait.

Why 3gig's ? Howm uch ram does Vista use when sitting on the desktop? Cuss Sup com for me and yea i have the retail version now uses onlyl ike 1300mb system memory. Thats counting everything else in use including the normall 200-300mb that windows uses. So in reality its only using like 1gb of ram.
If you need 3gb for vista that means that vista will be using over 2gb of ram normally ??
i dont know they say vista uses i think 512mb and u need 2gigs for 0 lag with 8 players and each player with 1000 units for 0 lag, and since vista uses 512mb to run they say you would need more ram to run vista.

I agree, Vista is such a ripoff :P I would wait until XP becomes obsolete. I don't get whats so good about it :P

Drives or out, now it should wait 4 games and DX10 application (except actual Demos) ;).

What version of Vista are you running?
Still if a game says it needs 2gb it doesn't meen you need 2512mb because vista uses 512mb

I wouldn't take it if it were offered to me for free. You couldn't pay me to use vista.

I was saying, from pictures and stuff I think there isn't anything special about Vista that makes it worth the money.

I personally dont give a poop about pictures and all that media stuff, as long as i can play all types of burned DVDs and along as it dose not interfiar with my games and dose not lag, and will play Sup Com perfectley findw ith DX10, by the way how is DX10 is it even any better than DX9, how do DX9 games run on it do they look better on DX10?
