all the way up to 1040 there are still no artifacts :), i think 600-630/2000mhz will be 24/7 for my new gaming rig and for me(LCD 19)gddr3 320mb is enough for high-end texture games

Great results for a $300 US card and $300+ cpu. Remember last year when just the cpu or video card was more the $600 with much less results??

Very nice results. :toast:

Thanks guys,

I am going to run those this weekend. I was anxious to run 2006 and compare to my best 1950pro crossfire scores (8800 3dmarks)
I would've been happy with 10k on this card. This was totally unexpected. :)

That's why I did the jump a long time ago...LOL (same path BTW from 1950Pro Crossfire to 8800 GTS 640MB). I need to learn about LOD. How do you do that for nVidia cards? I only know how to do with ATi Cards. Hey PcCI2iminal hablas espanol?

And I finally put it under water 8800GTS 640MB 670/2200 stock voltage ATM. I will vmod it later on to see if I can get to 700/2250 (or 2300)...LOL

lol mine does 670/2080mhz on stock air ,320mb seems to be better for clocking than 640mb :S

btw very nice 3d06 score and what is the max FSB with P5WDH/QX6700?

My first post here!

Nice tests and awesome results for the cheapest DX10 around!!!!!!!

PcCI2iminal which software did you use to overclock?

I tried ATI Tool 0.27 and RT 2.0 but none of then seems to work on memory clock, the GPU is fine.

I can set as high as I wish, but have no effect.

Could you give me some advice?

My problem was the driver, 97.95 is no good for overclocking 8800 GTS 320Mb. I downgraded to 97.92 and its working fine now! :)

My results aren't awesome, but for an aircooled system running at 30°C room temp I guess its Ok.
