I heard from my friend that the onboard sound on the asus board he bought, which was the realtek chip, is still crap. Now on the asus board i have picked out for my new rig setup, the chip it comes with for sound is.. ADI AD1988B 8 Channel, dont know how it sounds, might as well just set my self u p with somthing nice. Right now im using Harmon Kardon speakers and a sound blaster live x-gamer from like 1999 :wasntme: (please dont slap me) so i figured id set this new computer up with a good sound system, nothin too expensive... heres what i picked out at newegg...

Klipsch Promedia GMX A-2.1 78 watts 2.1 Speaker - Retail $139.99
I picked the 2.1 speakers cus i only want 2 speakers up front and a sub, i have no room, and i mean NO room for surround sound in this room im in lol
