I have always wanted a proper sequel in the Ultima series. Ultima 7 was the best of the series but when EA got their hands on Origin Software and the games creator, Lord British.... the following two games really sucked arse.

Seconded, on both counts.

I was going to respond that I'd like to see a sequel of System Shock/SS2 but Bioshock more or less fills that order (though a true-to-form mod would be deeply cool). SS2 is a game I still fire up from time to time. Turn off the lights, put on he headphones and go midwife hunting. Invariably, by girlfriend will sneak in and tap me on the shoulder, which invariable gets a pretty violent fof response and drives my pulse through the ceiling. :hehe:

I'd really love to see a (good) continuation of the Deus Ex line. I really enjoyed the first two. The story and atmosphere of those games is still second-to-none.

I guess I'm just a fan of that mysterious, story driven type of game.

I must have wasted hours on that game. Getting skilled enough to manually dock with the space stations was the most frustrating part of that game.

Unfortunately, I'd think they'd be more likely to revive Privateer or Starlancer before they'd dig up Elite.

Diablo 2 was ruined by the community by turning everything in the game into a quick buck on eBay and resorting to stealing and cheating any way they could, and by Blizzard who made it impossible to build a really powerful character without depending on the community for selling you stuff or playing thousands of hours (unless you're really really lucky which is rare), all making the game horribly unbalanced. After playing that game for two years straight I realized how much time I wasted in that game, and I really hate that game now with a passion. That game sucks and its a total waste of time.

To be honest, I hope they do make a sequal in the Diablo series, but actually get it right this time by making it fair for EVERYONE and punish those who try to sell sh*t on eBay. Hostile Waters: Anteus Rising.

My favourite game ever but it was the last game Rage software ever made. It was an awesome combination of strategy and action. You coordinated your attacks from a paused "war room" but could go out and pilot the units by yourself. Your pilots assigned to each unit would become more proficient, the longer you kept them alive and earning them medals meant that in the next level they would start off with better skills. That meant that you actually had a reason for keeping them alive.

I love everything about this game, but it received some very unfair reviews (one of them gave it 5/10 merely because it lacked joystick support, which it actually does have!). Surely a game that deserved to sell much more than it did.

A modern sequel would be awesome, especially with DX10 lighting and water effects :D

Archon: old c64 game. Very much like chess but the pieces had to battle each other. Would love to see a remake of it.

And of course Deus EX. First one was monumental, second one was great but too dumbed down. I hate console ports/dumbed down versions of games.

And Elite 2 on my old Amiga just blew me away. I would watch the opening over and over.

I just heard that their sketching up ideas for Diablo 3 and will start forming a team for its development probably late this year, but nothing is actually being designed yet. From what I hear, the most likely story that will be used may take place between heaven and hell. However, nothing else is known so far that I've heard. Don't take this too seriously, it may be a rumor.

But, what really pisses me off is that you KNOW that Battle.net is going to charge us over $60 for the damn game, then make us pay a ridiculous additional fee every month on top of that, so we can play a game we already f@#$ing paid for... And you know their going to design the game so single player sucks compared to multiplayer AND make unofficial servers illegal, so they can squeeze every penny out of us. Filthy money grubbing f$#@s!

I will be incredibly surprised if D3 online play is either free, or very cheap. I mean... if it was comparable to a magazine subscription fee, I wouldn't have a problem with that and it would be fair, since if you multiplied that by the number of users, they'd have enough money to keep the server serviced and upgraded and still make enough of a profit to help fund another game.

wc3 is very good. the customs maps that is. get a mini image and mount it with daemon tools. that way it wont scartch ur cd

3.I think with modern DX10 cards and the growth of in-game physics/particle collisions/what not, a lot could have come of Red Faction. I would kind of like to see a modern sequel to that.

I don't disagree with you there but I don't get the of Mana factory part. They just revived the franchise not too long ago and it probably won't do too well since its not Final Fantasy unless its infused with moe fanservice crap. Square also sucks now because they fire all their talented staff members and give Tetsuya Nomura complete and absolute control so that his CREATIVE URGES CAN RUUUUUN WILD (see: chains, belt buckles and lots of black/brooding) </ nerd vent>

In terms of remakes I'd really like to see Streets of Rage again but only if it were done in full 2d glory. Oh god that'd be so fun but it'd never happen. I'd also love a DS port of Snatcher. Out of all of Hideo Kojima's games, Snatcher doesn't get the proper love it deserves over here. Given how popular the Phoenix Wright games are to merit a US release here I don't see why it would be too risky to try with another adventure game. People would try it out just because the Metal Gear Solid guy made it.



On the flip side, I'd like to see Sonic given a proper burial. Please. It's the most humane thing to do at this point.

No more cellphone games either Square-Enixu. Screw that. Especially when they contain vital story arcs that will further our understanding of other games that you do release here.

Ruff game, alot of adult themes, top notch graphics for its time and a good 30's gangsta story. I remeber getting my voodoo 3 card just to play it and how stoaked i was.

for someone that said Blizzard might be making a Sequel to Diablo 2. If they did it wouldnt be right at all. The creators of Diablo and Diablo 2 left Blizzard and are now working on a new game based on that game and engine kinda that im sure youve heard of Hellgate: London. There is currently a sorta Diablo 2 like beta game they have now that you can join that they are using to test their servers using the Hellgate: London game engine but with a Diablo like play style to it. Will find the link, cant remember where it is.
