Works on my gigabyte board too, but oddly when I change it, and refresh WCPUID, nothing happens.... ditto for everything else. It sets, but nothing recognizes the new speed. I do get the ooomph of the extra mhz though. Odd.

Same on my Albatron865PE pro and the IC7 G
Works, but wcpuid or sandra don't change to the new FSB settings.

hmmm
on my IC7 it works perfectly, and WCPUID reports the actual (changed) speed... so I reckon it should work OK on your IC7-G as well :)

why didn't they put giveio.sys in the folder.
anyway it works good on the epox 4pca3+, cpu-z updates the speeds correctly

For same MB... different CPU... I noticed that it might not update (CPUZ & WCPUID)
I tried 2.4b c1... it will update with set FSB.
2.4c... it just won't... (I know I am running at faster speed by monitoring super pi though and stability)
Wierd... maybe HT related thing or ACPI?
Any one got clue?

yes, wird.
I have also had the problem on an old IT7Max2 and 2.55 so i don't think it's HT related. On that time I blamed the HDD or some broken file in windows:confused:
It still don't work on my IT7 G. I have to boot into windows at 4366 Mhz
:D

Hipro5 can use set-fsb, and make a snap on 4474MHz:slobber:
