I want a 24" Widescreen Monitor but i seen a 22" for $329 from dell! The 24" is $674. Or maybe i should just get a Samsung there seems to be a big price differance in 24" and 22" monitors. I have high def video so i really need a 24"

What video card do i need to run a 24" or a 22"? I have a 7600 GT CO and it does fine on my 19inch screen (1280x1024) with games like fear etc its good anough for me.

Heres a dumb question this monitor at newegg is a 22" widescreen
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824001083
but in the specs the Dimensions are (W×H×D) 19.9" x 16.1" x 8.7

well how can it only be 19.9 width when the screen says 22"?

7600gt has sufficient resolution for a 24" 1900x1200, but game play at that high resolution may not be optimal. Just do a google for 7600 gt ko reviews and see how the frames per second do on standard vs. 1900x1200 resolution. You would prefer 30-40's fps or higher for first person shooters.

22" is the diagonal length of the monitor screen.
