I was just wondering if I have to setup anything in OS for the 2nd logical cpu to work efficiently. I have reinstalled OS and it's pretty much fresh save for drivers and the Abit CD chipset/IAA stuff.

Nope. If you installed it with HT on, it's there. If you installed it with HT off, turn it on, you'll got to Windows, it'll ask you to reboot, then it'll be there.
