I just flashed my IC7-G to the 1.1 bios, the option to disable SATA I believe has moved, but when I disable, it still goes through the searching for drives routine during the boot process. Not a huge deal, but annoying, anyone else have this issue? 1.0 disables SATA just fine...
Not following...are you saying you disabled the SATA controller, but the SATA RAID Boot BIOS still pops up?
If you're refering to the IDE detection on the intial post screen...they all do that.

correct, since
I'm not using SATA at all I disabled it, have done the same with all my boards. Works fine in V1.0 of the bios, Raid was completely disabled. Now with 1.1 no matter what i change it to it still checks Raid for drives (control S or F4 screen) and it also finds the new hardware in XP and wants to install the drivers.
Edit: it used to be disabled on same screen in bios as the 1394, however now with 1.1 that option is gone, now its a bit different where you actually change Raid config, or choose disable, unfortunately disable does nothing....
