Logitech Harmony w/ a PC

I have a Logitech Harmony remote and I've been wondering if there's any way I can use it to control programs on my PC like VLC or Foobar. Are there any drivers I can find somewhere and what would I need as far as hardware? Some sort of IrDA adapter or something along those lines?
