First of all, hello people.
I want to get into phase-change, but I really don't know what i have to choose, I'm 17, so I need to spare a whole time to afford a unit.
Problem is: I really don't know what to choose, a Vapo PE (622EUR incl. transport) or a Prom Mach2 (740EUR incl. transport)
I'm not a die hard OC'er, but I do want to get great oc's (watch signature for specs). Will the result be much better with a Mach II? Is it really worth it's price? Or would I just be better of with a Vapo PE edition...
PS: I love my case I have now, so that would be a benefit if I take the prom.
later on I would buy a watercooling for the NB + GPU too...
Thanks for reading! :)

Well i build my own but, if i was going to buy one it would be the prometia std series,or if you have extra money laying around fo for the mach II.
the vapo uses a 12v compressor which is not quite as heavy as the prometia.and i am not sure you well see that much of a increase from a std to the mach II with a prometia.
you gain looks like 10c better temps maybe on a mach II.not worth the extra they are asking,if you ask me.
but if you are a hard core guy then dont let the money hold you back get the mach II.

Last I looked....there were several used prommies in our for sale section...one never used and still in the box.
Get the prommy, it's worth the money it costs :D

Yeah, get a standard prom ... you wont regret it :D
And if you want to go harder in the future then mod it with R404a.

Kay, that's all I needed to know, thanks guys :D
But, I thought that the std prom is not for sale anymore since the Mach II came out?

Or should I buy the asetek kit with GPU/NB/CPU block first (380EUR incl. transport)
And then spend all my money on a prom?
I think a watercooling would make a difference already too? :)
Opinions please!
Tell me what you guys should do, first prom or first watercooling? :) (if I'd take a prom first it'll probably take 7-10 months till I can afford one :/)

well you never want to go broke playing with the computer.
i would buy what you can afford.
go with the water cooling first if that is all you can afford right now.and that will give you lots of experience to help you down the road with a prommy or anything else.
the main thing is you want to have fun and learn.not go broke to impress your friends.going broke will only keep you from enjoying you pc
