New Server Configs?

If where going to be putting up a ctx cod2 server what should the configs be to attrach the most attention from competitive players? Im just going to throw out a few suggestions, feel free to comment and state some opinions on this matter. Input is greatly Appreciated!

ok, so maybe it could be configed to have the designated CAL map run 24/7 for that week and have the standard cal set up, All weapons and all the other stuff. Or were we looking to do a rifles only server? If thats the case then i would have to go with a rifles CTF server, those seem to be pretty populated all the time.

But like i said, Input is greatly appreciated and the more the better Please share some thoughts to the subject. Thanks.

It depends. If you want your more competitive players from CAL and TWL to play in the server, it should be the standard CAL Map of The Week rotation for that particular week with the CAL config.

we are either going to be putting it on CAL map of the week or making it a competitive rifles server following the twl rifles league. I have been approached by many rifle players who do not have a solid server to play rifle matches with players. This will all be decided once the server goes up

There are already several out there. SOG and OBC are examples of the SD Rifles only servers.

Just run CAL MOTW with PAM in pub mode.

yeah but those servers have a lot of lag spikes and way to many slots plus there modded. If we do go rifles, it wouldn't just be sd, but follow the leagues rotation of SD/CTF
