Lian Li LCD 3 1/2 " led mod

well this is a very simple mod i did my case theme is gonna be white so i had to change the over used blue led to a white one

this is a very easy mod, tool you need: soldering iron and heat gun ( if you dont have heat gun the soldering iron is enough)

you need to unscrew 6 screw 2 in the board and 4 in the bezel sides they are black or silver depeding on the color of the bezel

after you do that you will notice that the only led is oposite where the buttons are the led is under a white and silver sticker (this covers all the plexi that difusses the light) remove slighty the sticker and you will see the led, after that use the heat gun to remove the glue that is around the led or it wont go out, after that just use the iron solder to remove the led and place the led with your color of preference.

i used white and this is the result
