Doing some little mods to my cooler master elite 330 which i love dearly, heres the list of the mods, and some pics!

-Internal case structure coated in automotive rubber undercoat for sound dampening
-Scythe Kama bay for extra air flow
-Logisys thermal ducting

Heres a pic of the computer as it sits now

and a picture of the case as it is drying after the spray down, the parts that appear to be white that looks like i missed, is actually just the flash reflecting off the paint.

Just so everyone knows, i have been measuring the temps and like as i expected, they did go up about 2-3 degrees because the rubber acts like insulation, so keep that in mind if u need hardcore cooling performance.

So did you do this solely for looks, or does it have an affect on noise reduction?

it kills alot of the vibrations of certain things thru the metal of the case, the hard drive is less audible now to my ear and the cd rom drive doesnt vibrate the case like it did before, but the fan sounds are still there, if you have a loud fan then that sound will come right thru.

sigh...dont mean to be an as*hole, but you should have done a better paint jop.
i don't see how it could be a cameras flash that is apearing to make pics look that you missed a spot/s ?
how meny layers did you paint? usually one is not enough!!!

i did one coat cus the rubber goes on thick, there are a few spots where it didnt cover all the way but that doesnt concern me at all, i worry that if i used even more that the temps would rise even further, i was just experimenting with it anyway. i do plan on building a new computer towards the end of spring beginning of summer, so this wont even be here all that long :)

How about cutting out the fan grills front and back.....makes huge difference in noise levels and overall air flow...
