I was planning to use MCW60 or Copper Blocks with the Unit, but as some of you know the Unit holds a Aluminum Rad, have any of you Modded the Rad with a other Copper based solution?

I will be useing the Liquid Koolance provides with the Exos so it should keep the ALU/Copper Issue down to a minimum if the Current Rad is left in place, I think this should be enough but if their is a Rad out their which would be a easy quick replacement I'll replace it

thanks

Right ok, talk to myself on this one for Advice I was contemplateing on swapping it for the Asetek Xternal Version but the Build Quality is not that amazing and with past experiences with Asetek & their ever so Tested Hardware it will most likely turn out to be the case, the options I am left with is either swap out the Rad if anyone can be arsed to post any suggestions on what would fit or add some fans and replace the Two Top 120mm Versions for a Push Pull Flow through the Rad

What are any of your views ?

Calm down.
The koolance exos - or any external complete sets for that matter - are not very popular here. It is possible that noone has one of them here, and noone opened it up so far.

If you are still planning the purchase, I say don't.
If you already have it, then posting pictures might help more - so at least we'd see what's inside.

Your best bet is go to the Koolance website. Under replacement parts you can find the rad for your unit, and it will give you dimensions, I believe. As to introducing copper to the loop, I couldn't find much on their site. There is probably some additive that will prevent most of the corrosion.

Thank you Proton

Little line to the man above... Pic of Internal Watercooling with my Case should suffice enough to the Reason's why :

Proton, what Pump does your LX use?

I put the PC3-700 upgrade tank and pump in it. The pump is a DDC-2. I take it from your picture that you plan to cool the GPU only, as you have the Prometia on the CPU. But, then again, the picture doesn't do much to explain why you want to change your rad in an Exos 2, as I don't see any Koolance stuff there. Overall, I'd say a bit better explanation of the problem and desired end result may help. You may not be intending it as such, but, the tone of your posts is a bit antagonistic, and will not get the best results.
Good Luck with whatever you decide to do!

Above Picture is an Old 939 Setup gives an explanation to why a Internal System will not work, WC Solution outside is alot less hassle for Upgrades / Leaks / Room inside the case

For the errrrr other Point

Yeah really Un Calm Symptom's here slightly Melodramtic don't you think? ;)

Well enough with the Theater a simple question from Frank M to why are you useing external cooling would suffice, instead a Slanted Politics which most likely I have more of a understanding than the Person useing them is Teacherlly Ticked off towards my Direction.

Capt Proton nevermind, but it gets me when any questions are asked here you fall into a category rather than the fkin Question being Answered, I don't consider myself to be a Noob but I do like enthusiasm or any Input towards a Idea rather than the Words Picked Apart.

Anyway Building a System that will work best with Two Volt Modded Graphics Cards, NB MCW30 and Ram Block Cooling with a DDR Maximizer, all will be running relatively high voltage's 24/7

Rad I probably won't get around to replaceing, the PC3-700 upgrade is that worth it or would a laing Pump added be better for the loop?

Addative's De Ionized Water, Koolance Water Provided.

I'm not sure that I'm qualified to answer whether it was worth it. I switched to the FX 60 from my Opty 175 at the same time I put the new pump and reservoir in. Temps are going higher now, but, that would be expected, as I'm running more volts now than I was. I also added another small rad, and that may have introduced more flow restriction than it was worth. I know that it works well, but, it was a bit noisy until I put a speed controller on the pump. Now, I have the fans on the rad at 4, and the pump at about half. Its very quiet, and the temps will stay under control even when gaming, but just barely. It will hit 50C. I think that the NV2 cooler on the vid card may not be the best thing I could have done. I also have a cooler on the VReg on the Vid card. My system may be too restrictive right nowm that's what I'm trying to decide. I think I want to move to the Fuzion, and a straight GPU block and ramsinks. Just can't make up my mind if that will help. If I can lower my temps a little more, I'll try to get this chip up to 3.2GHz.

Sacrafice a bit of noise for Fan Speed or upgrade to the other 3 Fan Rad Version with the Res etc.. in the case, I don't know either way I gave up on the Exos 2 Idea its to much trouble than its worth although the Case looks better with the Lian Li the Alu Rad and the Mods are to much hassle than its worth.

Asetek Xternal is probably the better Option as I can Mod a few things inside it for better results and no Alu to worry about for the Future

you don't need a Qualification to have a point of view mate, don't pay creadence to the consumer market lol no worth in it.

Anyway I would probably say Put the Fans up if you haven't already, then maybe new Pump try it out, if no improvement a new Upgrade / System could be worth a consideration or a SS Phase Unit, I would not go with Koolance unless they changed their Rads and their Dirty Dirty Aluminium habits.
