Has anybody have any good experiences with orange UV coolant? I haven't been able to find anything. I was thinking this would match a DFI board really well. So if you guys have any opinions or pictures or other suggestions that'd be great. thanks! :)

im in the same boat as you, I need to find some good uv orange dye. A while back I stumbled across this: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=463866&highlight=Brilliant+UV+Orange
looks good, said to be more orange in real life, but to be honest in the pics it looks pretty sweet imo. He gives a link for where to buy it also. Not sure if this would clog up a loop though, on the website they say it wont and its in liquid form when you buy it (not powder or anything) so im guessing it wont but you never know. Anyone have experience with this stuff or any of the similar brand additives: http://cool-cases-usa.com/Zen-Cart-v1.2.4/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=7_9
also i was maybe thinking of using petra's "long life red" coolant (http://www.petrastechshop.com/loliredcoad.html) with distilled water because in the picture its looks orange'ish when diluted with water. Not sure if its uv reactant though....

okay, got a reply from him today and he says that it won't clog anything as its not particle based, so thats a plus. And the only staining he got was where he put in the dye, so i'm assuming if you mix it outside your loop, and then put it in you should be okay. The orange is amazing though.

of course, 10% dye 90% water.
Anyways, on the site they have the dye and they also have the coolant, so my question is, which one? Both won't clog water bocks or anything, and they won't stain tubing.

i would probably just go the "only the dye" route. Premixed cooling liquids are somewhat looked down upon, so i would mix the uv orange dye, distilled water, Petra's nuke stuff, and maybe some anti corrosion if you have mixed metals in your loop. Petra's "long life red" would work since it does it's job with the metals, and when its dilluted it will be orange (not much would be needed)......wouldnt look right if you mixed that uv dye with some blue pentosin or something....i dont even know what color orange and blue make when mixed...
