I'm on the verge of buying an E6600, but then I ran into talk that at the end of January there will be a 30% price drop.. so I'm holding off and also waiting for the 650i Ultra MoBo....then I also ran into people discussing the different Week revisions of the E6600... such as Week 29 or Week 33..and revision A or B....from what I understand certain revisions are better for OC'ing So I got 2 simple questions... I'm planning to Overclock to 3.5ghz @ 1.4volts with a Noctua NH-U12F http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=20940&vpn=NH-U12F&manufacture=Noctua so Which week is the best choice for me to buy?? and How do I know what I'm buying, like what do I specifically ask for when I walk into my PC store and ask them for a E6600 Week 30? and how do I check to make sure they are giving me the right revision ? Also if anybody has any info on when the price drops are coming I'd love to know. I would usually run the PC Mon to Fri from 4pm to 11pm, and weekends most of the day and turned off at night.. is this safe ?? I got an Antec 900 http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=21123&vpn=NINE%20HUNDRED&manufacture=ANTEC case with Four 120mm fans and the huge 200mm on top, in a cool basement enviroment... any suggestions or answers anyone ? thanks for replies..
