I can mention that it is the same with my Celeron 360. I found out that a bad Vcore-mod was one of the reasons that stopped me at 7.3GHz. ;)

When me and my friend were benching on p5b dlx with LN2, we have also a coldboot issue with C2D, but with Celly 65nm it was the almost the same :(, maybe few degrees lower, so I assume that Celly was coldbugged at about -130 :D

The pentium 4 at 8ghz... ALU is 16,000 and FPU iSSE3 is only 20,000. A X2 4400+ outperforms a 8ghz single core. Not that impressive because the slowest C2D even is faster then a 8Ghz pentium 4. lol A FX-57 at 4.2ghz is also going to out perform this.

The PR rating on my cpu at only 2.94ghz is PR10588mhz to a P4 dual core. Nice to see netburst can do some great speeds but it doesn't compare to anything currently out. Specially twords anybody who has dual core setups and above that are AMD or C2D or C2Q based.

But because 8ghz isn't even stable or benchable on a wider range its useless.

The pentium 4 at 8ghz... ALU is 16,000 and FPU iSSE3 is only 20,000. A X2 4400+ outperforms a 8ghz single core. Not that impressive because the slowest C2D even is faster then a 8Ghz pentium 4. lol A FX-57 at 4.2ghz is also going to out perform this.

The PR rating on my cpu at only 2.94ghz is PR10588mhz to a P4 dual core. Nice to see netburst can do some great speeds but it doesn't compare to anything currently out. Specially twords anybody who has dual core setups and above that are AMD or C2D or C2Q based.

But because 8ghz isn't even stable or benchable on a wider range its useless.
