Been looking all over to find what the record is and if there is a recognised one and my buddy Vapor said post in here and if I was wrong you guys would straighten me out fast!:D
Best multicpu rendering score I could find was Kaz-n's 2526 on his Kentsfield at almost 5000mhz on LN2..
Here's mine at 2545 done on good old New Hampshire air but with a few more cores to help even things out.;)

Late last night I found a post on ars technica of a guy with an 8cpu-16 core Opty 880 that claims a 2646 score. No SS but I don't doubt that score.
Seems I have some work to do.:D

supposed to score much better and thats what that guy was using..
I just happen to have a nice virgin legal copy sitting here.:D

Just took a 4 hour break from WCG to do the testing..
Don't worry pal..That's my main priority!
Just figure if I can show people how much power is locked up in these that maybe we can make a few "converts" to the cause.;)

Nice score, I'll post a nice one later also ;)

Hi,Hassan.
BSEL pin-Mod and VID-Mod.
boot FSB 333.
Mod VID5 by conductive ink to ground pin.

Hassans on water with the same 5340's you have, specs anyway..
I'm using the 5350's(2667's) with a 10 multi unmodded at this point.
can I ask how much of an increase you went with voltage?
I was thinking .05-.1v increase to get to 3420 stable..
Thanks!

Thank you Movieman.
Please try 10x370 by VID-Mod.

VID-Mod up about 0.2V.
No Mod 9x360 OK.

By Single CPU boot FSB266 ,FSB370 is limit. boot FSB333 ,FSB390 is limit.
Boot 333 your CPU OK Bench 10x360 no VID-Mod.

Thank you Movieman.
Please try 10X360 by VID-Mod.
:D I have a feeling that if I tried 10X360 that the heat factor would melt down my house! The BSEL mod is done but remember I'm on air..:D
There is a good 40mm Sunon on the NB not shown in that pic and I have new heatpipe heatsinks with vantec tonadoes to install.

The HS's in the pic are dynatrons and yes, loud..
The coolermasters in the link with the vantecs will be louder but this machine is primarily for crunching DC programs(cancer research) so I will live with the noise if the cooling is effective.
Motherboard is a supermicro X7DAE and memory is 4x1gig Mushkin ES DDR2-667FBDimms..

My X7DAE FSB limit about 365.
Tyan S2692ANR is good.

Please do your best.

hi,DStealth.
i try fbench and Mandelbrot331.
However, operation of fbench is strange. Is there any setup?
The score of fbench is about 34.

Yes, I went to 363 and the next bump took it to 370 and it bluescreened.
We had a big ice storm here the last 2 days and I lost elec power for 30 hours so just getting back online.
Have no free time till sunday then I will do the volt mod and new cooling.
There's a guy at ars technica that had a 2646 score with a 16 core opty 880..
I'd like to see someone from XS pass him by..You, me,Hassan, doesn't matter:D

I'm gonna try vcore 1.4+ to pass 3.33, I get unstable @ 3.3+ but 390x8 is ok for me... 390x9 is the goal!

...

What a score :slobber:
With which video you made this run?
Matrox Mille PCI
XFX GEFORCE 7900 GTX 512MB DDR3
or
ELSA GLADIAC 979 GX2 1GB

If with the first - try with other, video card sometimes limits the render of Fract bench, in your case for sure LOL. If the problem stays, try running 4 core "only" or noGui version, where video is not a factor :) We'll try to optimize the code for more than 4 CPUs , but till now, we don't have a tester :)

Mandelbrot run ELSA GLADIAC 979 GX2 1GB.
It seems that, as for fbench, the program is not operating directly.
