Are there any professional players out there that have the dedication it takes to put forth as a member of a professional team that is able to kick some serious butt? This is a priority due to the recent trip I was on with Fugger and crew at Consumer Electronic show. We have been offered full sponsorship by a manufacturer. The level of player we need is strictly professional and will practice and play as a professional. This is a Different level of gaming so if your not serious please don't apply. So if u think u are the player we need, You should get in touch with me asap. Thanks,[cTx]SGT.Viper

So all your looking for is pro's only?

Not getting the best players we have and giving like a tryout?

Seeing whos got it and who dont?

Its not like pro's just walk in and say ill join, mostly there already taken as it is..

The pro gaming community is moving towards counter strike source (crap) from 1.6 thanks to Direct TVs CGS. I believe flying hampster here at XS (he posts rarely) is a professional 1.6 player. But you're not going to find a team here.

Those are the "pro" teams currently. You can't just get 5 people and go pro. If you want pro talent you'll need to give them a pay check, sign them to a contract, fly them to every event. It's a lot harder than you'd imagine.

Thats were your wrong thinking that i have not imagined what it takes. I appreciate your help. We are looking at getting a pro team up and touring with full Sponsors. We have an offer on table now for full Sponsorship on our team if we can get one going. So if you think you can help out then let me know.

Thanks,

afireinside is right all the "washed-up pro teams are going source" because they no longer have enough skill to compete in a real game (Team3D *cough* *cough*)

I have alot of expirence and have been sponsored more then once however it is hard to find 5 guys who can pracice daily and all be reliable, the best way is to eventually get them all loving together or close so practice can be LAN only. Relocation is hard and that's why I turned down the opportunity with the beginnings of sk. gaming.

What you really need to do is to jump into the Cevo leagues and top brackets of CAL and show them your offer.

Shame you had to turn down that offer :(

It's not that they're washed up teams, but all the american teams want to win CGS.

Viper what I'm trying to say is if you're serious about sponsoring a pro team, XS, or any forum for that matter is a terrible place to look for players.

Start talking to managers of other top teams and the like. Learn the game, learn the players, watch matches etc...

Are you looking for people to move or can they be able to play online for there current residence. if so i may be able to help out with some good players who would most likely be interested if they can play from home.

I'm pretty good at CSS, and I could get a lot better if I had a decent team to scrim with. Gimme a PM if you're still looking for people.

Im a CSS MONSTER!!! I have been playing CS since Beta1. I usually get kicked/banned from pubs within 10-15 minutes cause they think I cheat. And if my K/D ratio drops below 4.00 I must be too drunk to play. Too bad I have kids and wife so i cant play more then a few hours a night.

:) We usually got spanked in CAL though cause we refused to cheat.

Too many cheaters in CSS. In a blind survey of like 600 cal players, over 20% anonomously admitted to cheating in cal. That basically means every team you play probably has one haxer. HHEHEH

yup, pro gaming has moved toward css, the biggest hacking arena in pro gaming.
