Thank god there are dual format HD discs and Players that are coming out this year so i dont have to choose which player i need to get.

theres more porn movies made each week, then there are movies in a year.

I watched a BD movie yesturday and i couldn't notice muuch differance between it and normal dvds in 1080i. I don't see much inprovement in the next Gen because the rez isn't much better than DVD.

Sony's history has been filled with bad management decisions for over 20 years.
They just seem to totally misunderstand the marketplace and it appears that their decisions lack any thought of what market reaction will be.
Beta vs VHS:What was it that killed the better designed betamax? It's inability to store a 2 hour movie..That simple..Yea, I remember and many of you weren't around back then. We're talking 1975-1977ish,before cable, and what people were copying was the damned ABC sunday night movie which was the big one back then. 9-11PM EST and you could copy it on VHS but not betamax..
Add to that the average movie without commercials was 1/5-2 hours and that is what killed betamax..
Then their BS app stuck on cd's.
Now this..
Any other company would have gotten the hint by now that the secret to sucess in the marketplace is listen to what people want and then give it to them..

I disagree, theres a very large population of porn viewers that are totally computer illiterate. Hard copys of porn will never go away thats why people still buy the magazines and dvds will always sell. I've still got vhs pornos from when i was 13. I dont own a vcr but im keeping them dammit.
