I've just brought a Thermaltake toughpower 750watt and having a small problem with the voltages, specially the 12+ line. In the BIOS and in windows it's reporting 11.71v!!! hasnt affected stability yet, just don't like it that low.
So the question is, is there Pots in the powersupply to turn it up. Thats what I've done with the last couple of powersupplys I've had...
Just don't want to open it if theres noting there...
thanks

Hi there,
I've got a TT Toughpower 600W and according to everest it also runs 11.71v, seems to be working alright. I've got no clue about your question, sorry, but you're not the only one having that voltage, so I thought I'd post. I think it's okay. I'll watch this and hope you'll get a solution.

I got one and it went overvolted... the 600 and the 750W also. They were about 12.14V full on a crossfire system. (mesured with a voltimeter of course).

That's a good or a bad thing? And when it was idle, was it 11.71v and stressed 12.14? As long as everything works and doesn't screws anything up, i'm happy.

dont trust software (bios, monitoring software...)
use a multimeter instead.

that is perfectly in spec, rail fluctuation is what matters, not output voltage.
