How the **** do you use em?

All the fan screws are too fat/big and the supposed
screw holes on the fans themselves are too narrow/small.

I tried to screw in a LED lighted screw on to my fan and
made a closed end corner into a open end in the process...

Easily said, the corner broke apart since I put too much
strain on it trying to fit/screw in the screw...

I've used those plastic mounts until now on all my fans, but now
I'm out of them, can find anywhere that sells em, so I used the
screws that came with the fans... don't work... wtf?!

Funny...

No one uses the screws... yet the fan companies pack
screws that don't even fit the fans in their retail packaging...

BTW, I just broke another corner, lmao...
Tried to make a groove for the screw by myself with a
rotary tool...

Funny... I've always used those screws on open and closed corner fans and never had one break yet, black plastic or clear ones.... I have them in my case fans right now.

I have also put many fans in with the included screws and never had any problems. Do you have any thinner fan screws anywhere that you could try?

sadly the screws that look sturdy and may actually fit in the
holes of case or anywhere I'm trying to mount the fan on,
are too thick, and cannot fit into the fan screw holes.

even more sad, the screws that come with the fans are either
too small or too big, too short, and don't fit on either the fan
or mounting holes...

Really pissin me off lmao...

BTW, how the heck do the fan manufacturers want us to use
the screws, if the fans themselves don't have grooves in the
screw holes?

Anything I try to screw in becomes crooked because I'm literally
making the grooves myself by force with the screw I am screwing in...

Perhaps it is just the particular fans you are using that are having a hard time with those screws? I have used fan screws on a number of fans without issue. The holes on the fans are not threaded, but they will hold just fine.

An alternative you may want to consider if you are having trouble getting screws to work is fan rivets.

I'm outta rivets :(

Only thing I got are screws, including these fancy
led screws I got to light mod my case/mobo.

Yes the screws are supposed to make those grooves themselves. They are tapping their own threads. They do tend to go in crooked but once you tighten them down they usually come out pretty straight in the end.
