Rig in my sig. Whoa, didn't even know that rhymes till I read it over lol. Anyhoo, playing UT2004, I get 85 FPS constantly with very little drop when theres like a huge battle with a bunch of shock combos. Playing at 1680*1050. All settings set to high. In Supreme Commander Beta, I get about 28FPS with sometimes drops as low as 5 :( but hey, it's a rts, don't need to have great frame rates to enjoy it. Playing at 1680*1050 as well, maxxed out with 4x AA (from console, I should try with nVidia graphics settings thingy.)

heheeh I'm extremely lucky to have this PC. DIY waterblocks and WC system under construction. I had the misfortune of a 120mm fan temporarily cooling one of my video cards knocking a capacitor off. It will be repaired and ready to go this weekend.

Specs in sig, I get 299+ avg. fps in all source engine games 1440x900 + MAX AA + HDR + All others Maxed.

BF2 maxed everything 150fps 1440x900

Original HL engine 1400+ fps w/ timerefresh :)

Well since I haven't so far had the chance to do any benching with my new mobo/CPU/RAM (thanks a bunch, Tigerdirect for the unnecessarily protracted RMA! Hats off, guys!) I'll give you my old specs:

GET BF2142 RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! its way better than bf2 in my opinion, and way better than source. A bit pricey...but worth it. My best 3dmark was 7500lol because my board wouldn't let me OC my CPU more than 2400... so the cpu only got 2050...

yup, join the club. My 15" CRT has been a good little monitor, but one day, i've gotta own up and get a new one. It's served me for 6 years :P

And I do agree, atleast demo-wise. I played BF2 demo, then immediately went to BF2142 demo, and there was a HUGE loss in fun, lol. It just doesn't seem to get me having fun in comparison to BF2.

well... as i've said in other threads; i currently play medieval 2 at high settings at 1280 x 1024 with sli'ed 8800gts...i would need 8800gtx sli MINIMUM to play at 1900x1200....and even then fraps is only 20-30. (i saw a test on youtube)

bf2142 is easy at high settings at 1600x1200 with a single 8800gts...fraps at 99

medieval 2 is much more demanding than any other game i have played. first person shooters seem to be easy in comparison....supreme commander seems fairly demanding aswell depending on your settings....havent tested it much.
