Hello,

So, I was playing around with my 7600GT KO yesterday, and I got to clocks around 682//1712 with ATi Tool. I start artifacting, so I brought down my clocks. But the part that worries me is that at full-load, the 7600GT doesn't exceed 65C, so why might the artifacting be caused? Would lack-of-voltage cause artifacts? I do experience a sort of lag right before the graphics display. Would that be a symptom of lack-of-power?

btw, the 7600GT ko has a larger heatsink which covers the RAM IC's as well as the core.

artifacts means instability

like increasing ur cpu to 4.5Ghz without increasing its vcore

okay, thanks. that's what I was suspecting as well.

So does anyone know how to volt mod a 7600GT with minimal risks?

no minimal risks with volt mod ever

u can increase the volt 0.1v through the bois itself but for more than that and for the vmem u need a hardware voltmod

can you refer me to the tool which will let me volt mod my core up .1V?

use Nibitor (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3122.html) to save ur bois and in it u can increase the volt and reflash it again

I remember this only being applicable to the 6800 series and 7900 series. Well, I'll try it out. Won't hurt, right? And do you know any guides to volt moding the VRAM? Plus, what is the long term damage to my card if I upped the VRAM voltage? Thanks.
