Hi guys
I rebuilded my conf. form s478 to s775
Actually i have Pentium D920, Asrock 775-DualVSTA (suxxxxx) and 7900gs and KHX TCCD 2x512 - funny configuration? :P
Before christmas i bought and received Gigabyte 8I955X Royal, so i need a DDR2 now immediately.
I'll buy a DDR2 from NewEgg, because in US is cheap... but!
I don't know what should i buy. 2x1GB something poor/mainstream or good 2x512 for nice OC.
Crucial Ballistix 2x512 Pc-6400 on D9GMH are nice and price is ok.
Or 2x1 G.Skill 2GBPK - price is higher but acceptable.
or something diffrent
What will you advise me?
THX!

Always go with 2X1GB it is not that good at OC but will get respectable speed with relaxed timings (450+MHZ)

2x1GB hands down, the extra ram will do you good

My friend have good idea - i should buy a good one of 2x512MB and poor 2x512 or 1x1GB for gaming.
For benching i would be used 2x512... i think its good option, and... cheap.
But i'm confused now, which one i should buy.
Crucial 667 cl3 or Crucial 800 cl4
Which one is more possible that they are based on D9GMH?

are u ready to waste ur money just for the sake of benching ????

gow with the 2x1GB, since the 2x512 won't help u in benching at all except in SuperPi with high OC and tight timings

Why waste my money?
4x512(includeing 2x512 bench memory) for games and 2x512 and high fsb + tight timings for bench?
2x1GB which is oc friendly costs a lot of money... half of averange salary in poland...

G.Skill 2GB DDR800 4-4-4-12 costs 225$ which is less than any 4x512combo u can get and still very o/c friendly

how much will the 4x512 u r planning to buy will cost ?

yeah - u have right, it will be more expensive :P
But G.skill costs 225$ (with shipment 285$), and crucial 667 (i expect that is on GMH...) 345$
What should i choose? :(
