This might be a silly question, but my friend told me that memset, could determine optimal timings and settings for your ram. He sent it to me, but it does not work on 965 boards, is there anything similar that I could download? Does software like this exist?

to fully optimize any ram without rebooting the system dozens of times. Not remotely possible. Sure you can chance clock speed, some timings, and a little bit of voltage but in the end it requires YOU to do some thinking, some reading, and alot of work. Otherwise, you might as well stick to SPD

Thanks for clearing that up. I got my corsair vs 667 to 850 already @ 1.9v 5-5-5-15, but want to find out what the other settings should be. I have a p5b-deluxe :)

MemSet 3.0 (http://www.overclock.net/intel-memory/120402-memset-3-0-a.html) does work with 965.
