Ok so far I have 2 gigs of OCZ PC2-8000 Platinum, e6600 Core2Duo, an Asus Striker Extreme motherboard, a Silverstone ST85ZF 850Watt PSU,
and a LIAN LI PC-V2000BPLUSII (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112120)
Now I'm deciding on whether or not to wait for the R600 to come out and just get a x1900xt or XTX for now... Go ahead and get the 8800gtx/SLI(maybe)
Or get one 8800 gtx and still wait to see what the r600 will do but at any rate I doubt that a single r600 will beat 8800SLI and the mere fact that I can't crossfire with this board I guess kinda limits the whole waiting for r600 when I can just SLI 8800's huh? Also I'm thinking of getting the Tuniq Tower 120 for cooling the CPU so I can OC as much as the cpu and the Ram will let me. I was going to try to wait for the new DFI 680I board as my last 2 boards were DFI and were amazing... but I REALLY wanted to get something asap as my last build was 3 years ago and I"m running on a 9800pro and an old mobile AMD clocked@2.4GHZ(back when the mobile and desktop cpu's were basically the same except the mobile ones could OC better and you could use them in desktop rigs...if anyone even remembers that lol). I guess I say all that to say this, whatever I get will be a HUGE improvement over what I have now. Also I have a 1680x1050 Widescreen monitor so my games I want to all run in that res with everything maxed out and HDR... ANYHOW I'm long winded but what do you guys think so far of my purchases and are there any changes/suggestions you have?

PS: Oh yeah what do you guys think of that case as far as airflow and cooling and quality?

Anyone else? Suggestions or comments about the case or RAM or motherboard?

every thing looks awesome! and the 8800gtx or 8800gts will handle any game maxed settings and really high aa and af on that monitor so don't wait around to get something that we have no clue what will be like.

Man I'm having a heck of a time deciding between the ULTRA 120 or The Tuniq Tower 120... any ideas on that anyone? Also if you had your choice would you have chosen the striker or the new DFI R600 board that just came out? Seeing as I'm probably going to only do single vid card configuration SLI vs Crossfire doesn't matter much to me and even if I do decide to do dual cards...I'll just go with 2 that whatever my motherboard can handle all be it ATI or NVIDIA as I'm sure both solutions will get plent of frames for my 1680x1050 monitor... So as far as stability, performance, and extras...which board would you guys probably prefer? I could send the striker back and get the new DFI R600 board just need some opinions...

tuniq tower because its bigger and heat dissipation area is larger
