mcw50 on 9800 pro??

will this waterblock fit on the 9800 just like it does on the 9700 or no?? i just spilt water on my 9700 pro while it was running and now it artifacts :( looking to the 9800 pro or 9600 pro, but hoping the mcw50 fits. thanks

yes the mcw50 works fine on the R9800 !

I don't think You killed your r9700 though just by getting water on it (shouldn't have killed it) just get a blow dryer to it for a while. you probably got watter under one of the bga chips. Water shouldn't kill the board. I've spilt water on several cards b4 and just got it all over my mb last weekend, and never had any perment damage.

the reason i think i fried it is because when i run 3dmark 2001 and 2003, they both are screwed up and artifacted really bad.

I'm pretty bad about getting water on stuff ! hehe I'll bet if you take the card out and get a blow dryer to it for awhile you'll find that it still works. Were you using any addditives in the water like anitfreeze ??? you might need to use something to clean off the board if so. rubbing alcohol will probably work fine
