Hi, i have recently bought this mobo and the first i did was to remove the heatsinks of the chipsets and replace the paste for AS5. I think i did it good because the paste that comes with the motherboard is worse than AS5 isnt it? so the temps will go down a little. I want to know ur temps of the northbirdge and the southbridge(if theres a sensor) to have a reference because i dont have the memories yet and i didnt turn it on. Thanks for your time guys.
PD: Tell me if you also changed the paste like me or u left the one that came with the board

it doesn't need to be adhesive!! as5 is fine for nb chipset.it uses the spring clips to hold it in place same as south bridge.
and drac89 mine idles @ 29 after gaming or priming for a while it gets to about 32, i,ve never seen it higher than that.

running E6600 @ 445FSB with NBvolt @ 1.55V heats the NB to ~41-45C (according to BIOS) on my P5B-Deluxe (ASceramique on NB)
