Ok, right now i have the Alpha PAL8045 heatsink. I am using a 52CFM 80mm Sunon fan. Basically what i am trying to do here is make this thing a little quieter without running the cpu hotter. What are you guys's ideas? Would it be good if i got a high output, but quieter 92mm fan with a 92mm to 80mm adapter for it? What do you guys think i should do? Thanks.

You can try this one. (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/del80ffb0812.html)

I've been using it on my SLK-800 for months and its nice and quiet.

It moves 45 CFM, but that's not the whole story. It has enhanced static pressure thanks to the configuration of the air vanes.

And the price is right too!

The price is right for $15? That would be far and away the priciest fan I ever bought. But I'm a cheap bastage :D

the alpha profiles are pretty much build for fanadapters i think. maybe not but i've seen very good results.. me and a m8 tried it out with a 1700+ jiuhb and that combo with a papst 120mm 26db/55.3cfm fan and a 120mm 28db/72cfm fan called powerfluid. very good results.. cant remember max mhz but i think it was near 2500mhz,,, i would recommend you turn the fan blowing down at the profile.
