Well..new to me...Bowman built it. This thing is awesome! My NB was way too cold but was able to warm it up by slowing flow rate from chiller. Refreshing to have too cold type problem! She stood up great with a load on her. Only problem was mobo related...board would not reboot. I have to shut down and then start up...won't restart for some reason. I am afraid to reset cmos settings for fear I will corrupt bios until I resolve. Here's a pic...plan to build my own case soon.

Very nice !!! Gotta love these phase change rigs. I have 3, and love each and every one.:smileysex

I am working on setting up a folding farm. Got me a KVM switch and a pile of cables.

I will post a pic in the appropriate thread when I'm done. Thats one sweet looking mutha.:slobber: :D

Thanks Mike, but the credit goes to Bowman....he did a hell of a job! It looks even better, but I have a face plate off it...brushed stainless steel look to it. I am still amazed at the attention to detail and he made the evap block also. I'm glad he left me a few things to do with it...mostly cosmetic stuff, but it makes me feel good to be able to improve it in any way at all. :D

Boy did I do a bone head noob mistake this morning. I was up until 3am last night installing Opps old Epox GA+ in the cooler.
Got up at 6am when the dog licked my face. Decided to fire it up and temps on the evap were only reading -25...wtf....checked to make sure it was seated tight....temps rose a little more.
Then it hit me! Shut her down fast!
Now get this.....

I had forgotten to put any thermal paste on the die....none...I remembered even wiping both the die and evap clean last night.

Moral of the story is....don't OC when you only had a couple of hours sleep. I was lucky I was using the cooler...imagine what that would have done on air! By the time I got into Bios to check temps...it would have been a crispy critter. This has to be the dumbest thing I have ever done.

Yeah...calm down...I didn't hurt her! :D
I got the Epox installed...I like it. It's been so long since I ran anything but Abit!
I got the Abit to finally do a decent FSB with the Twinmos/winbond ram..225
Now I'm gonna play with " CrossBow" named after her creator. Despite what many of you may think, the cross reference is not a reflection of his sunny desposition :D

Look at the water lines in pic below...wasn't paying attention and almost froze them solid! Turned her off and mopped up..all ok.
:D

Yeah...too good! Even with the flow control almost off..it's frosty...think it will settle down once I put a load and some volts thru the mobo..need more heat..never thought I'd say that!:D

I found a way to put some heat on the chiller to keep it from frosting up. I connected my Koolance rig to it, so now it cools both bridges on my Epox board and then flips over and cools the entire Koolance case (swifty WBs). I can run the flow control wide open now without frost. The Koolance temps dropped 10 degrees c.

Bowman how did u build the evap. on the system? In the middle of building a system myself and thats seems to be the big hill to get over for me.
