hey guys, I've never done any games before and would like to try a few to let me get the hang of it to expand my computer abilities.
would you reccomend a few to me that I can play without a console & preferably free.

MOBO: ASUS P5GPL-X
P 4 630 3.2
RAM 1gig
Nvidia GE Force 6200(I know it's low end but I got it because all I do is PShop & surf)

When it was released :lol: I played solid for about a year and a half, stopping when a clanmate got accused of hacking :/

enemy territory is great! Extremely addictive, free and can be played on anything. When my bench rig dies I usually play it on this fx5500 non stop and it does fine :D.

I was out of the PC loop at the time it came out on the Xbox... W:ET for the PC come out later?

PC version came out before xbox version.

everytime i rebuild my main PC or when i :banana::banana::banana::banana:ed it up i go to my 2nd pc and play ET.
My 2nd pc has a MX 440 so ya ET plays on everything and is alot of fun.

edit: Game was first released for PC as a free download. a good while after that (when they noticed alot fo people played their free game) they launched an Xbox version of Wolfenstein + ET and a PC version of Wolfenstein + ET. The PC version was named game of the year edition or something like that.

Day of Defeat: Source. Best $20 game ever. I've been playing only that game steadly for the last 8 months, waffling around with some other games... but I keep going back to Day of Defeat: Source.

i play cs:s, dod:s, superpi, 3dmark, uhm... :D

all cs:s players here should scrimmage
