As for a Mobo, id say Asus P5B dlx, or Asus 975X

Maybe a 680i based mobo since you wanna do SLI

i have the 2 hds @ 160gigs each and dvd burner and cd burner and dvd adn cdrom all in one.

my friend has a p5b deluxe wifi and he says he has hacked drivers for SLI on that board?

definately go with a 965P board as most 975X boards will not clock near as high. And since your CPU has a 7 X multiplier you should definately go with the better clocking board.

You said you are spending $1000CAD, why are you linking from newegg? Just an FYI they don't ship to Canada. Try using directcanada.com, they have the cheapest prices i have seen anywhere in Canada.

Also are your HDDs SATA, as most if not all 965P motherboards only have 1 IDE port.

I'd recommend changing the processor from an E6300 to an E6400 for better overclocking.

For mobo I'd go with an Asus P5N-E SLI since you want to go SLI in the future. I don't think there are hacked drivers for geforce 8 series.

For PSU a Silverstone ST56ZF would probably work better.

oh come on, look it up yourself.
3.2 ghz is easy. get a ds3 and get a new motherboard when dx10 truly reveals itself.
