The evap temp and cpu temps on my Mach2 GT have suddenly started dropping through the floor. Before it happened evap idle temp was about -56c with cpu temps at -29c, load temps were -50c with the cpu at -11c. Now the idle temps are the same but the load temp on the evap drops to -34c with my cpu going into +temps. Can anyone give me an idea of what could be going on, and hopefully a way of rectifying it. I really could do with some feedback on this please, because running Prime or anything cpu intensive is a no-no at the moment.

Sounds like leak in the system, you'll need to find someone who will repair your unit.

Agreed definatly sounds like a Leak. I had the same symtoms on a unit which would only come apparent when under load, it was a tiny tiny leak. Will need to be repaired and recharged.
As LD suggested, find someoone local to repair the unit. :(

Sorry to hear that. One thing first, are you using same CPU?

Yes, opty 170. The rig, is as in my sig. If it is a leak, god knows how it's happened, because it has'nt been moved or touched in ages :(

If it's been used for extended time, maybe give it bit of rest for full day? It will introduce low side leak very quickly and high side not as much... also it might just be that something got blocked... :)

Ok thanks for that, i'll leave it alone for a day and see if it clears itself :)

Wel peep's it did'nt clear itself, so a leak it was. Anyway Pazza316 has done a convertion job on it for me, Chilly1 head +desuperheater coil +regas. At the moment she's Priming nicely at 3.1ghz on the same vcore that i was using at 3ghz(1.325x123%)1.63v for those that don't want to do the maths. It dos'nt drop more than 3c on the evap under dual Prime. Was it worth it? you bet your bottom dollar it was, i've been trying to Prime at 3.1ghz for months with no luck at any vcore. Thanks a lot Ian, great job and i've got a feeling it's going to go a lot further than 3.1ghz :D

Well, the old girl did the business and i'm now at 3.1ghz Prime stable. Onwards and upwards i suppose. Looking at Primeing 3.15ghz now.
