E4300:YIPPIE:

Low fsb and the same multi as the great Opteron 165 will make this chip a great performer. Cheaper Motherboards and higher frequenzies . I expect that this chip will be able to hit 3,5ghz easily:D

Very interesting overclocks, wonder what the limiting factor is in the chip, just low-bin cores or if there are some critical circuits cut out along with the removal of the VT features. I'd like to see this thing overclocked under phase as even my E64 under a Scythe Ninja runs really hot with 1.55 volts going through it..

Heh well 3.4ghz for a 160$ Allendale-chip isn't exactly a sad smile smiley, don't you think...?

nice performance indeed.

yes, not THAT bad, but I was hoping for more ;)

though I'm still hoping that the prices will drop a little bit more :D

actually it is pretty good, I have no doubts a 4300@3.4Ghz will outperform a X6800, even with it's smaller cache

it a very good buy IMO

might consider this cpu if I happen to build a rending clusted anytime soon
