I'm looking for a good Intel motherboard in the $200 CDN range. How are Intel boards, compatibility wise with DDR2-1000mhz OCZ ram? I haven't used an Intel setup in about 6 years or more, so I'm totally out of the loop. I'm looking into using my OCZ ram (2x1gb) with a 6400 C2D. Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, the Intel D975XBX is a very solid board with some good overclocking features.
But it's probably not the best board for an E6400 and some DDR2-1000 if you want to do more serious o'ceeing.
The Asus P5B-DLX and Gigabyte DS3 appear to be the favorites for high overclocks.
They run on Intel chipsets but if you want an actual Intel board, I don't think there's any that will take full advantage of the ocee potential behind a E6400 matched with some 1000mhz DDR2 memory.

If you want to overclock a E6400 to the max you'll be best off with P5B-Deluxe, has no issues with DDR2-1000 as far that I know of. Mine runs fully stable(specs in sig)without even a hint of trouble.
